Star Walk will direct you through the night sky in style. It's the perfect solution for amateurs, professionals as well as kids who are enthusiastic to learn. It's your personal planetarium that will answer all your curiosities about the sky. Discover more than 9000 stars, constellations, planets and messier objects. You can use Star Spotter function to view the sky in front of you in real-time. Tilt your iPhone or iPod touch towards the sky to activate the digital compass that will determine location of your phone.
Just tap on the clock icon and scroll the time slider to see the sky tonight or lets say two years from now. In order to see moon phases and elevation, open up the new window by simply tapping the moon-shaped button. The push notification will appear on the Star Walk icon that will tell you there is new picture of the day. You can save a reminder of beautiful night sky observations and bookmark it on your iPhone. This app offers automatic & manual selection of locations on a 3D globe, Wikipedia links and help guide. It allows you to change user preferences with the different setting options.
