Free Team Navigation iPhone App & Review

Team Navigation is a group GPS-view application for IPhone. The application is targeted to groups of people traveling,sailing, hunting, racing, exploring places or making their vacations across the globe.
Team Navigation allows professionals to view their vehicles and vessels from their IPhone device. Individuals can use Team Navigation to monitor their location against their saved Points of Interest (POIs). You can view the exact location of your team member or POI in the map along with the geo-coords and distance from your origin.

Tap a point in the radar map to view its location on Google Map. Tap the Google map pins to view information about the point.

The GPRS, 3G and WiFi networks are supported for your team or fleet tracking. A team is created by its members, by just configuring the application settings to use the same group id. The group id is actually the password key which characterizes a team. More specific a group is defined by members with the same group id.

Application is working with the TeamNavi.aar Axis2 webservice freely available from the author website:http://www.kalatzis.eu. You can use the default settings to start working with Team Navigation on the author's server but you can also download the web-service to setup your own team or fleet management Axis2 web services container.

SECURITY:
The users of the application must know that their location data MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO UNAUTHORIZED PEOPLE; the location of the IPhone device may be visible to other unauthorized people.
It is suggested that the users of the Team Navigation App can use the Axis2 web service with their own Apache Tomcat server.
A difficult to guess groupID can secure as much as possible the user location being transmitted.

The Team Navigation application DOES NOT PROVIDE THE FUNCTIONALITY TO BE USED FOR:
1. ANY KIND OF EMERGENCY.
2. LIFE SAVING PURPOSES.
3. AUTOMATIC CONTROL AND ROUTING OF VEHICLES, SHIPS, FLEET, FLYING OBJECTS AND ANY MECHANICAL DEVICE.
4. FLEET MANAGEMENT.
